inaugural student art contests: The TD 3-D Art Contest for High School students and the TD
Mother’s Day Card Art Contest for Middle School students. These art contests are being held in
celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Artisphere and prizes total over $1,000.
Greenville County art teachers who are interested in participating may submit up to five (5)
entries per school no later than April 1st, 2024. The students with the winning entries will be
recognized at Artisphere on the TD Stage on Saturday, May 11th, 2024. They will also have their winning
work displayed in the TD Bank tent during the Artisphere weekend.
“TD Bank is proud to join together with the TD Center for Arts Integration to announce these
two, inaugural student art contests in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Artisphere,” said
Chris Fincher, Regional Vice President for TD Bank. “We look forward to seeing all the contest
entries and are excited to showcase the work of our talented local student artists during
Artisphere this May.”
● Deadline: April 1, 2024. Winners announced on Friday, April 26, 2024.
● GCS Art teachers can submit up to five (5) student entries per school by sending a
photograph of each 3D Art Work as a .jpg or .pdf via email or Google Drive link to
smartartsgvl@gmail.com.
● Work must fit on a 12x12 base.
● Top five (5) entries will be displayed at Artisphere and receive recognition plus:
○ 1st Place Student: $300 Visa Gift Card and other TD Swag
○ Teacher of 1st Place: $100 Visa Gift Card
○ 2nd Place: $200 Visa Gift Card and other TD Swag
○ 3rd Place: $100 Visa Gift Card and other TD Swag
○ Two (2) Honorable Mentions will receive a $50 Visa Gift Card
○ Each Winner’s Class will receive a Pizza Party.
● Deadline: April 1st, 2024. Winners announced on Friday, April 26, 2024.
● Middle School GCS Art teachers can submit up to five (5) student entries per school by
sending a scan of each student-drawn artwork as a .jpg or .pdf via email to
smartartsgvl@gmail.com.
● Top three (3) winning students will have their art used as the cover of the TD Mother’s
Day coloring cards so Artisphere patrons can create cards for their loved ones at the TD
Bank tent.
● Each winning student will receive a ($100) Visa Gift Card and other TD Swag.
● Each winning student’s class will receive a Pizza Party.
The TD Center for Arts Integration is a partnership between the Metropolitan Arts Council, TD
Bank, the TD Charitable Foundation, and Greenville County Schools (GCS) that connects
students, artists and teachers to deeper learning and self-awareness through integrating the
arts with all areas of education. The program annually serves over 11,000 students and served
42 schools during the last full academic year.

wanted to leave it open to the students to be creative. It can be any medium
from paper to metal to pottery to anything!
